Aisha Hinds is an American actress who is best known for playing roles in the television shows The Shield and True Blood. In the years since her debut, she's shown her ability to perform in series like Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. Anna's performance as a character in Assault on Precinct 13 was her first major breakthrough. The film was primarily for her portrayal of feminist activist Fannie Louis Hamer, in the biography film All the Way, which earned her the respect she deserved as an actress. Hind has also been praised for the role she was playing as Harriet Tubman within WGN America's historical drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the show for a 3rd season. Hind has completed the production of the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters that is scheduled for release in mid-2019. Her father Krishnaraj passed away in March of 2017 after a long career as a scientist in the Indian Army. Vrinda, her mother, is a homemaker. Aditya Rai is her older brother, is an engineer in the merchant marine industry. The younger brother of Bachchan Aditya Rai was the producer of Dil Ka Rishta and wrote it together with Bachchan.
